During my time at Barwon Water, one of my key roles involved creating a proof-of-concept platform to demonstrate the capabilities of AI assistants in handling complex research questions. These platforms are designed to simplify complex questions into easy-to-understand responses, leveraging vast knowledge bases filled with peer-reviewed articles. The project, which started as an internal tool for R&D purposes, is now a potential offering for external stakeholders. Below, you will find two versions of this AI assistant platform. Version 1 is focused on internal research, while Version 2 introduces a monetization model for broader stakeholder access.
This version contains assistants specifically designed to answer questions based on research from the BioSolids Transformation Hub, with data from 44 peer-reviewed papers. The assistants use AI to simplify complex queries into understandable, real-time answers.
Version 2 expands upon the AI models in Version 1, adding the Hackathon assistant embedded in the IWN Hackathon dashboard, and a WIP Barwon Water R&D assistant containing past student trials. This version also introduces a paid model for external stakeholders.
